Lones James

AUTHOR

Lones James is a poet, lover of music, and all-around wordsmith. Growing up as the son of a ferryboat captain near Bayou Segnette, he draws upon his experiences of life by the water to craft Louisiana-centric children’s stories. Having navigated his own childhood struggles with sleep, he was inspired to create stories that bridge the gap between adventure and rest; hoping to make the journey to sleep a magical experience for every child.

Reagan Lee

ILLUSTRATOR

Reagan Lee is an artist and illustrator whose works have been exhibited at the New Orleans Museum of Art, Gretna Fest, and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. In creating the illustrations for Goodnight Baby Alligator, Reagan drew upon her own experiences growing up with a bayou in her backyard and her love for visual storytelling.
